Hello,

My name is Lily and I live with my mother, Bast, who is disabled.  My grandmother, Bast's mom, recently passed away on May 27th, 2019 due to COPD related complications. We are still working on donations to pay off the mortgage, but now we need the donations more than ever. 

My mother, Bast, is living with lupus, and all the complications that come with it; arthritis/chronic pain, immune deficiency, diabetes, and many other problems. As of now because of her poor teeth she has to get them removed and cannot eat solid foods. She works from home using Amazon Turk and up until recently spent 90% of her daily life to take care of her mother, my grandmother. She is a long time fan of many fandoms, contributing to fandom with zines of her own making for many years, and proud to be part of the fan community.

Due to my grandmother's death we were were unable to keep the house that has been loved and lived in for several generations. For this I am deeply saddened, but hopeful for the future.

My mother and I recently moved to upstate New York with family for a fresh start in a place that has better benefits for the poor and disabled. 

I have kept this fundraiser open so that friends and family have a way to send us funds, as we are continuing to be struggle with money.

We love it here in New York and we love our new house. 

I've removed the previous update about our needs for boiler assistance as we were able to get that taken care of. 

I am deeply saddened to announce however that we got an expected bill for taxes that states we owe the state $4,000 (Four thousand dollars) in taxes by the end of January. 

After January the rates for this bill will continue to go up for several months until our house is foreclosed on and we are left worse off than where we started. 

I ask you to please donate if you can, and share our story. 

We need this home.
