In March 2005, I was finally accurately medically diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) an Auto-Immune/Chronic Pain Disease along with the accompanying disorders of Fibromyalgia (FM) and Chronic Myofacial Pain.
For more than 8 years now, I have been medically fighting these diseases which debilitate me, while currently trying to raise two of my sons, without any remission occurring. Medical statistics indicate that an RA Diagnosis before the age of 50 results in a loss of 20 years off the typical life expectancy over other individuals without disease. This makes me both uninsureable thusly unemployable.
My medical bills for office visits and particularly all the prescription medications I am required to take, just to buy a little more time with my children, is enormous and I have to pay for all my care out-of-pocket. In 2010, when my sons' father stopped paying the court appointed child support and spousal maintenance due to disability, I have quickly been draining what little financial resources I've had to draw on...
I am looking for a "HAND UP", not a "Hand Out". If you are able and willing to help my children and I, my gratitude would be beyond what any mere words could express!
