We don’t often ask for help, but this time we really need it 💔

Despite having insurance for all our cats, we’ve recently been hit with several large vet bills that sadly weren’t covered.

🐾 Billybob – our newest rescue, already older when he came to us, needed extensive dental work due to the poor condition of his teeth.

🐾 Castiel – many of you know him as our amazing blood donor cat. In order for him to continue helping save other cats, his dental treatment was essential… but after a long fight, the insurance still refused to cover it.

🐾 Garfield – our retired donor boy needed a CT scan (with a 20% contribution). The good news is it likely saved his life—he’s now been diagnosed with osteoarthritis and is thriving on monthly Solensia injections. It appears now he is also heading into a heart failure so he needs an ultrasound.

While we’re so grateful they’re now happy and comfortable, the costs have left us with a significant financial strain.
