I am a single mother of 2 beautiful children. I recently had my daughter kidnapped by my mother. I have shared custody with my daughter's father. This is a verbal agreement, last person we ever spoke to about custody legally was a councilor while I was still in hospital recovering from giving birth. She heard that Alaura was going to be living with me and her dad would be visiting since she was breastfeeding and eventually I would start going to his home with her so I could breastfeed her. Then I would leave her there with him and his family, leaving bottles of breastmilk. That was the last thing ever on record, the rest has been verbally worked out that she would live with me 5 days a week and with him for 2. That is our shared custody. My daughter's father (possibly, DNA test pending) & my mother (not a legal guardian) worked together to take her away to a city 3.5 hours away which is a blatant violation of our custody agreement. I cannot see her 5 days a week when she goes to school there, he cannot even see her the 2 days he is supposed to get so I do not know why he agreed to this. I can only assume my mother lied to him about the situation at my home despite CAS saying I was a good parent providing a safe home. My mother has been setting this up for a while and has been ruthless... I worked for her for 6 years and she fired me on July 7th 2022 with no notice, she can legally do this because I was considered a temporary staff member (I am her daughter so it was a way around the nepotism issue). She knew that on July 1st, 2022 I had just moved into a new apartment and had to pay my first and last. She also knew I had just financed a new car. She then began to move herself from the city I grew up in to her old home town 3.5 hours away. Then she came and kidnapped my daughter. She took away my job and then moved in as soon as she could because she knew I would be financially unstable going from 40 hrs a week at 23$ an hour to Employment Insurance. She already called Children's Aid Society and they did not remove my chidlren. There were also police sent to my home after my daughter was taken and they saw no threat to my son being here BUT they would not retrieve my daughter as they said 'her father signed off on her being there'. I desperately need to get my daughter back, away from that monstrous woman. She did not raise me, my father did and he abused my brother and I. He used to beat us, hit us so hard it left marks, sleep through the day so I had to cook for my brother and I from the age of 7 and scream at us so badly it made us urinate ourselves yet I would rather go through that again than be raised by my mother. She is a vile woman; she hit my brother with a wooden back-scratcher as punishment, she would get upset at my kids and say 'I don't want to talk to you anymore' or 'I don't like you' which was mentally jarring (my son still talks about it) and used to say horrible things about my father and her mother (my grandmother who she and my daughter are currently living with) to me so I can only imagine what awful things she is saying about me and the thoughts that are being put into my daughter's head right now. She must be saying horrid things about me and mentally damaging my child... I require assistance with legal fees and taking care of my son while I am fighting for my baby girl.
