Hello my name is Ali Nicol,

I am organising a walk in memory of a truly great guy Bill Logan who sadly passed away last year. Bill was a lovely guy who loved  his family, friends,dogs, football and the great outdoors!

Bill spend many years helping others whilst working as a guide dog mobility instructor helping visually impaired/blind people. He also was a patron at his home town museum in Nairn.

Nairn County FC was very close to Bills heart where he co-wrote a book about the history of the club, he also put on an exhibition at the museum in Nairn and finally Bill joined myself and other walkers to complete the West Highland Way in 2014 which raised     10K for the supporters fund which helped the club build a new supporters enclosure.

All monies raised from this years West Highland Way will go towards a memorial bench to be placed close to Nairn beach, the Scottish Guide dog society and Nairn museum which were causes close to Bills heart.

Bills family have been consulted regarding this proposal and have fully endorsed this event and they all feel this is a great way to remember him, whilst helping others which was very much the way Bill lived his life.

Any donation no matter how big or small will be very much appreciated.
