My name is Ridouane Harroufi and I am a Track and Field athlete, I am training to qualify for The 2016 Olympic Games in Rio for 10000m(10K) for Track and Field, I was born and raised in The City of Azrou Morocco, I am waiting for my United States citizenship next couple months,two and half years ago I had a severe injury and ended up having two hip surgeries, most runners will admit that is a very difficult road to fully recover and come back from, thanks to a dedicated and hard working wonderful physical therapist and a friend Lorne Macdonald also known as Mac, the owner and operator of The Colorado Institute of Sports Medicine in Colorado Springs,I am blessed and thankful to have fully overcome this challenge and feel that 2016 is the year for me to shine and my dream making the Olympic Podium is driving me to continue this ultimate goal.
I am a proud husband of my supporting wife Aziza and father of three wonderful boys, Ali(8),Anwar(7),and Rayan(3), along with my family's support I am asking for your support and help to make this ultimate goal of mine come true, I train and I work full time as a limousine driver in The City of Fort Collins while my wife and I raising our three boys and make ends meet.
With your help if I do raise the amount stated it will open the doors for me to solely focus on my training full time(train, eat, and sleep, twice daily) and to fully prepare for the journey on chasing The Olympic Podium, my quest will begin on the month ofMay 2016 by chasing the Olympic qualifying standard , with god’s will I am confident I will accomplish the goal.
