After battling back from a baseball injury last year, young Joey Pilewski is giving back to the game which has already given so much to him, thanks to IN MOTION PERFORMANCE's "Hacks-4-Hope: Charity Hit-A-Thon & Fundraiser."

My name is Joey Pilewski I am an 8th grader at Bethel Park. I have played travel baseball for the Pittsburgh Diamond Dawgs and won a Cooperstown Championship in 2014 with Beaver Valley Red. I spent all of 2015 recovering from an injury and will play again in 2016. I will play for the Pittsburgh Fighting Fish here in Pennsylvania and on the Evoshield Canes National 14U team.

With the help of Pittsburgh's premiere baseball development destination, IN MOTION PERFORMANCE, and their "Hacks-4-Hope: Charity Hit-A-Thon & Fundraiser", I'm raising money for 2 charities on Friday October 16th: 3E Now and The Miracle League. 3E Now is placing Coaching Boys into Men in Pittsburgh area Schools and travel baseball teams. This is a great program. After practice we talk about building good attitudes and how the choices we make become who we are. The Miracle League is a place for special needs kids to play baseball. I volunteer as a "buddy." My job is to help the players run the bases. Both of these are very good charities.

Will you help me raise money by pledging any amount for each hit I get (up to 10)? Here is how it works: I get 10 swings. You pledge any amount for each hit I get out of 10 pitches. If you pledge 10 bucks a hit and I hit 6 balls, my charities will receive 60 dollars. Simply write the amount you are willing to pledge per hit in the comments section below.  Or you can make a single donation on this page at the amount of your choosing.  There are a lot of local kids going to this and I would like to be one of the top fundraisers. Make a pledge per hit and let's help 3E Now get Coaching Boys into Men in more city schools and help more special needs players in The Miracle League enjoy a baseball game.
