Dear Friends, Community Members and Strangers Alike,

Together we extend our hearts and hands to loving Father, loyal Husband, and dedicated Police Chief Brian Hubbard, who's served an outstanding 23 years of service to the community of Farmington, AR. He’s loved by our community and absolutely deserves to experience so much more than a police officer salary can afford him to experience.

As soon as all was setup and prepared for his retirement... Br ian was faced with a challenging battle against stage IV non-alcoholic related cirrhosis of the liver. Brian, along with his devoted wife Racheal, have been dealt an absolutely difficult hand, and they are now struggling to meet their basic living expenses while facing overwhelming, crippling medical bills in excess of a million dollars to date. Life insurance is out of the question as no one is willing to cover someone who has been diagnosed with such an illness. 

We have attempted to put him on a transplant list at UAMS and other hospitals but have been denied outright by every single hospital organization as every other vital organ is 100% in good health, his liver is the only organ failing and this will inevitably end his life sooner than any of us anticipated.

If they cant afford a transplant, which it is very unlikely, maybe the charity of our loving community can at least afford them the ability to comfortably take a breath and help with their medical bills which are creating an unnecessary stress in an already stressful life.

Brian and his wife, Racheal, dream of going around the United States in their recreational vehicle that they have paid for before Brian's illness, and now are facing the challenging decision to ultimately sell the RV to help pay for medical expenses and funeral costs..

Why I'm Posting This:

• Raise Funds: Our primary objective is to raise funds to assist Brian and Racheal in covering their medical expenses, daily living costs, and reducing their overwhelming debt. Hopefully with enough support we could even help Brian retire comfortable and with a glint of hope as planned.

• Show Support: We want to create a warm and supportive environment where Brian and Racheal can feel the love and encouragement of their community and the sometimes surprising reach of crowdfunding communities will hopefully fill their hearts with total hope.

"It’s with a very heavy heart that I have decided to make this post and plead for prayers! Three months ago, our son Brian woke up unable to draw a deep breath, he was taken to his Dr office and sent to the ER for a CT scan where it was determined he had Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis. He had so much fluid in his abdominal cavity and around his lungs it had collapsed his lung. They drew fluid off and determined his liver already had significant scarring. A biopsy later revealed stage 4 liver failure. No cause has been identified! In order to live he needs a transplant or a living donor. We ask that all be in prayer for answers that we need, skilled caring doctors and grace to see us All through this. As I have often said I know God has a plan but my mamas heart is having a very hard time! I thank you all in advance and continue the prayers in the months ahead! I love you all."
