A Story of True Transformation

After graduating from a theological seminary Pastor Edwin soon realized that the ministry in Africa demands more than the pulpit delivers on a Sunday morning. After going through Livelihood development training he decided to engage in horticultural agriculture after realizing that he land by the river bank which was full of reeds. With a capital of Ksh500, he begun farming and to the surprise of many his farming is now earning him an average of Ksh4000 weekly and he has also constructed two fish ponds which now supplies the local community with good protein at an affordable price. Pastor Edwin has created employment for the villagers who help him in the farm.

Wealth is Created by Offering Opportunities

Many communities in Africa have developed a culture of thinking that all the wealth they need is heaped somewhere outside their reach. Time is up for this notion to be put where it belongs because it is one of the bedrocks of poverty in the continent. FBI believes that through trainings in wealth creation, local resources identification and mobilization, savings and wise investments, the many communities in Africa will rise above the poverty levels.
