David Hose Train Mural

Local mural artist, David Hose was commissioned to paint this mural in 2005 by Eddies Trackside Bar & Grill.  That business was forced to close in 2013 when the tenant's landlord forfeited the building back to the bank.  The new owner is changing the decor and is painting over this mural on  March 26th.  We are raising money to SAVE THIS MURAL by  hiring a drywall professional to remove it piece by piece and mount it on plywood sheets to preserve it.  David Hose has offered to "touch up" any damage.  We hope to place this mural on display for the citizens of Monroe to enjoy for years to come.  Please help us save a part of history and another grand work of art from David Hose. David Hose is a full time artist and muralist, with over 80 murals in the Seattle area. His work has been featured in the Seattle Times, The Herald, and The Sky Valley Chronicle. He is currently painting what may be the largest mural in Snohomish County, a 30' x 60' veteran memorial on the wall of the American Legion. David is also a professional calligrapher and active member of the Chamber of Commerce.
