Mish has been dealing with breast cancer since November 2010. She chose to do what many do not choose... to use natural healing therapies to heal herself. She has a strong belief and faith that her body has the power to heal naturally with the support of friends, fasting, herbs, nutritional supplements, and natural health practitioners. Mish believes the only true way to heal is to go within, face our fears, and heal the attributes that are the reason for developing cancer in the first place.
Mish has had much success to date with the support of her friends, sheer determination, and a comprehensive natural health plan, despite the medical world having given up on her long ago, hence she is still here with us. But, it does take time and money, and unfortunately Mish has now exhausted her own financial resources.
Mish has walked this path before. When she was 25 years old she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism which then turned into hypothyroidism, Graves’ disease and eventually was told she would die of Thyroid cancer. Mish ended up in coronary care several times, with her heart 3 times the rate it should have been. But despite having several doctors surrounding her, pressuring her to have surgery, proclaiming if she didn't it would be a miracle if she survived. Mish was determined to heal herself naturally, and she did!!! It took her 7 years to fully recover, but only 2 years before she was living a normal life again. She said that every cell in her body believed "I'm going to overcome this and heal".
Mish has a powerful will and is very determined to beat the odds this time around even if it is considered to be a "Miracle". But, she needs your help financially to do it.
Mish sadly doesn't have a family to take her in and care for her. She has never known her father and her mother passed away tragically 5 years ago. Mish's mother had severe mental health issues and had escaped from an institution, was missing for 21 days and tragically was found under Mish's childhood bed. Mish watched her mother suffer from the age of 7 and did what she could to support her mother live with severe mental health issues. Mish also volunteered to care for her grandfather for 2 years when she was 28 before he passed away with emphysema. Mish decided to study drug and alcohol and mental health so she had the skills and ability to support others whom she felt deserved more nurturing, understanding and empowerment.
Just prior to completing 3 Certificate IV and a Diploma in 2 1/2 years, Mish discovered she had breast cancer. She has been virtually housebound for almost 1 year now, and obviously has been unable to work. She survives on a pension which is barely enough to pay for rent and everyday expenses, and in order to heal she needs a lot more help.
Mish has been so brave. A shining example of courage and strength. She sometimes has a hard time asking for help. That is why I am doing it for her.
