Tracey's Domestic Violence History: Tracey Grissom has battled a very tough married life filled with emotional and physical violence. This also includes a rough period of almost two years post divorce plagued with ongoing litigation battles. Tracey’s ex husband’s substance abuse and temper resulted in Tracey being (allegedly) beaten and violently raped in 2010 witn her children at home. This attack left Tracey in the hospital and led to multiple surgeries to repair damages to her body. Charges were filed against her ex husband, including first degree rape, sodomy, and unlawful imprisonment, however due to our justice system processes, he was out on bail during this long legal battle. During this time, Tracey’s ex husbands actions continued to terrorize Tracey emotionally and financially. He was charged with drug possesion in 2011 but remained out of jail! Tracey lived in fear daily because he had told her that he would make her life "a living HELL" if she made it out alive. She and her kids had lived in a safe house, as well as had been under a court protection order to protect their safety. Tracey had relocated out of the county based on concerns for her and her children’s safety in 2012. Since her divorce, Tracey lost her home to foreclosure and vehicle to repossession due to the financial power her ex husband maintained. Her ex husband did not remove her name from over $200,000 in his company debt although he was ordered to do so in their divorce. His lack of on time payments and withholding money all together has lead to ruining Tracey’s credit. Tracey had filed contempt on her ex husband. He claimed in Contempt court that he was not working, although there is evidence to show otherwise and he was able to continue to get continuances prolonging the legal battle between the couple, putting further strain on maintaining a livelihood for herself and her children. Things changed on May 15, 2012, On the way to work as a home health care nurse, Tracey saw her ex husband and his work equipment. Tracey stopped in order to attempt getting a picture, as proof that he was indeed working.... when he saw her. Instead of a quick picture, Tracey ended up on the phone with 911 after a tragic situation that ended in the death of her ex-husband. ALL DONATIONS AND PRAYERS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
