Welcome to Sigil LARP
An invite-only PvE LARP in the PNW
Attendance Tickets will go on Sale in December.
These are not Attendance Tickets.
This is our Crowdfunding campaign for our initial props and decor
- This LARP is run by Sethron Draigh, Paul Cleveland, Magdalen Alexander, Ian Fox, Kevin Bryan, Jasmine Lane, Syn Fryer and Isaac Harrus. Our staff is an empathetic staff who are driven by content that engages and revolves around our players. We are aiming to run a game where you have the most entertainment possible while not giving up our sanity in the process by setting good boundaries and hosting only the people who mesh best with us.
-
Our Goal is both for ourselves and our Site
There's going to be a 6 month dark period between the end of Paul & Mags' previous game: Luisant, and the start of Sigil. In order to help Middleground weather that time, we are hoping to give half of our raised funds to Middleground LARP Site and spend the rest on props and tools to make the game run smoothly. -
Transparency on things we'd like
The basic costs of running a website aside--hosting, domain fees, and the like, we are hoping to make a simple closet of monster masks and easy outfits like tabards and the like that are defining but minimal. We need a good set of weapons for NPCs and some props, and there are props that are more unique to our game that we would like to invest in: Things we can loan you for cool shrines. Things that will decorate our Modspaces. The like.
We also want to set up cool Escape Room spaces for excavation and searching ruins, so investing in puzzles and filament for Ian's 3D printer and prop mastering skills is important. -
We Hope you help us along on our
journey.
Our game plans to run a strong 12-16 Campaign sessions, with Court Sessions between. We plan to run 4 times a year and we are hoping that those who sign up with us stick with us throughout the entire experience and enjoy themselves.
Stretch Goals
$4,000
We can pay most of our costs for webwork and hosting and get some spiffy props. We'll start first with Costuming basics, and providing propmaster Ian with some money to make some cool puzzles.
$6,000
I feel like we'll have a good prop closet and we'll pay everything we need for Middleground to not feel the burn of losing a LARP; that's why this is our basic goal.
$8,000
We can grab some big shrine stuff, some holiday props for holiday play, and pay artists real money to do real things--like take photographs on Game 1, or draw things for the Website.
$10,000
We'll have paid Middleground's entire month's bills. At this point, anything that doesn't get spent on propwork and costuming for the LARP goes into Middleground's pocket to offset their costs. Do I think we'll get here? No. Will I be excited if we do? Yes.
