I am Artie Romero, and for more than 45 years I
have been producing cartoon animation for films, TV, apps and the
Web. I have animated Spongebob Squarepants and numerous other

I was contacted by David Tumpkin, a Christian
musician and asked to create a proposal for producing and directing
a series of Christian music videos for at risk kids. The
following is his story:
As I look around, I see many people engrossed by numerous
negative television programs. Even children’s programs
today are far less kid-friendly than when I was a child. I also see
a world where there is not enough emphasis on our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. I decided to create my own cartoon characters that
are a Christian/Gospel Band called
ofGod
. I wish to provide our children and teenagers with positive
cartoon characters and songs that enhance one’s walk with God as
well as bringing others to Christ. My goal is not only to create
inspirational music videos, but to also submit the videos to 30 film
festivals and competitions for added exposure, to increase the
likelihood of a future Christian cartoon television program.
I will be working with Mr. Artie Romero; founder, producer and
director of ARG! Cartoon Animation; which was founded in 1973. He
has over 45 years experience in the animation industry, and has
helped nearly 200 budding artists and animators get their careers started.
Per the animation proposal, the budget is as follows: 4 music
videos of 5 to 6 minutes each (22 minutes) at $300.00 per minute
(total: $6,600.00). Entry fee for 30 film festivals/competitions
(total: $785.00). The total budget is: $7,385.00.
I have arranged with Mr. Romero to start this project
immediately and I am working extremely hard to make all of this a
reality. There are many individuals who do not know Christ and many
are saved through a message from an inspirational song. I truly
feel that the music these characters are performing can touch and
save many lost souls and remind the world who should be the head of
their lives. As we look around the world it is obvious we are
living in the last days. Let’s do all we can as caring individuals
to provide the necessary projects, programs, literature and
ministries to help spread The Word. Please donate any amount, as it
will go towards the production costs to create the music videos as
well as the cost to submit the videos to 30 film festivals and competitions.
