First of all, thank you for taking the time to take a look at this story. I am writing on behalf of John and Jodi Harrison who are struggling mightily under the weight of cancer and it's devastating effects. Jodi Harrison is in Hospice fighting her final battle with cancer. John and their two young children are fighting to stay afloat in the wake of this tragedy. John and Jodi have two children who are struggling to go about their daily lives while their mother is at the end of hers. Daily life does not stop and it always costs money. The kids are active in sports and activities which help keep their lives normal and on track but now the family car is broken down which is one devastating blow too many. The kids must get to school and sports and they need to be able to visit their Mom at this critical time. John needs $500 to get things right with their only transportation. John and his family would like to say goodbye to Jodi when the time comes in the best way they can but right now they can't even afford to do the simplest of send offs. A cremation and no service will still cost $3000. On top of all that they will be forced to move when Jodi is no longer with us and that too costs money. I am asking all of you who know this family or just know the devastation of cancer or just what it's like to be desperate for a couple hundred dollars when things aren't going your way to please help.
