Please help our family create safety for ourselves and others.

For more than 20 years, we (Ana and Ezeder) have worked hard with our Indigenous relatives and the 2SLGBTQ+ community for human rights and freedom. We helped many people through Four Directions Mutual Aid and Masks for the People during the Covid pandemic, and are now organizing for transgender safety. Ezeder is facilitating nature-based meet-ups for kids, and Ana continues her important work in cultural mediation.

We are dedicated human rights organizers and focus on helping others find safety, especially as there are increasing attempts to criminalize and erase trans people in the U.S.. This demonization has turned into Federal law and policy with attacks on all areas of transgender life. In these scary times, we are the ones in need of community support.

With the Trump Administration attacking transgender lives almost daily, these are dangerous times for our family. It has become clear that we must leave the U.S. for our own safety and work towards a more inclusive and safe community.

Our organizing work is full-time and often leaves us with few resources. Helping others has always come first for us. We have managed to get by with little, and the resources we have go towards our son's growth, knowing he faces a complex and changing world.

We do not ask for financial support lightly. We will use it to move our family, especially our child, to a safer place outside the U.S., and cover the expense of starting over in a new place. We will also continue to build strong communities and help others find safety as we have before. Attacks on trans people are going to worsen. We need to gather resources and leave now.

Leaving the country will not be easy or cheap. We have done the research, started saving, and have a plan. We're working on visa options. Now, we are asking for the support of our family, friends, and kind-hearted people by:
