Hi, my name is Andrés Felipe Patiño, I’m 27 years old and I’m from Medellín, Colombia. I recently graduated as a Digital Entertainment Engineer from the Pontificia Bolivariana University.
My dream has always been to work in the video game industry. I even started my own indie game studio here in Colombia, but the lack of a strong market and my inexperience made it very hard to succeed.
A few years ago, I went through a personal crisis involving substance use that delayed my academic path. It’s not easy to share, but it’s part of my story. I overcame it, I got clean, and I graduated. That chapter is closed, and now I’m fully focused on building my future.
Right now, I’m raising funds to pursue a Master’s degree in Game Development (Full Sail University USA)
at an international online university. This program would give me the technical skills and industry knowledge I need to grow, find work abroad, and build a meaningful career.
But pursuing this degree costs between $30,000 and $50,000 USD, which is simply impossible for me to afford alone.

I’ve been accepted into a one-year Master’s program in
Game Design at Full Sail University (online). This program
is exactly what I need: it combines practical design training,
real-world development projects, and mentorship from top industry
professionals — all of which will help me compete globally and
contribute meaningfully to the industry.

The total cost of the program is around $35,000
USD, including tuition, software, equipment, and study
materials. As someone from Colombia, this amount is completely out of
reach on my own. I’m fully committed to working, studying, and making
