MMR is inundated every day with desperate pleas for help to assist dogs with severe medical conditions. Sometimes when we take a dog from a shelter, we have no idea what kinds of costs we will incur; This is because we think with our hearts.

Most shelter animals with any type of medical issues are considered unadoptable, and for "rescue only". Shelters rely on rescues like MMR to help them get these animals the care they need, and into a forever homes.

These fortunate rescued MMR dogs are immediately given the best veterinary care and recover in amazing foster homes. As more desperate pleas for these special and deserving orphans come in, the more we are in need, and grateful for your generous donations and support!

The month of June (and now July) has become quite costly for some of our MMR dogs. Besides the core veterinary costs/care , such as vaccines, spay/neuters, dentals, etc...We have taken on quite a few special cases we could use your help with. Below are some of the rescues that we could really use your help with.

Izzy-Is having soft palate and nare surgery so he can breathe.
Jude-Had to have X-Rays and bloodwork for a severe UTI
Suzy- Will need heartworm treatment, continued costly skin treatments and blood work.
Rex – Is getting his second heartworm treatment, and will then need to have have ACL Surgery from a prior injury caused by neglect and abuse.
Buffy and Bing-Both need their second round of heartworm treatment

Taking care of so many in need, has resulted in very large veterinary bills. We could really use your continued support to help us get these dogs the care they need, while allowing us to continue to save more dogs like these.
