Hi meet Jeremy who is 12 years old living with Sturge-Weber Syndrome.
Jeremy was born with Glaucoma in his right eye . He has lost a lot of
vision and often needs help going up and down stairs. Sunlight can be
quite painful as well.
SWS has also left Jeremy with a seizure
disorder that will never go away. Because of this he has always had to
have an adult around him for his own safety. Up until last year we
never knew we could get a Service Dog for Jeremy. Now we have been
matched with Balto a German Shepherd puppy who is in training. We are
raising funds to help train Balto so that he can go to school with
Jeremy. Help give him the independence every young man deserves.We
hope if you feel compelled to donate you know we are very grateful. He
is currently in Limestone , TN at Island Grove Kennels training. We
are down to $60 in our funds as all previous donations have been used
on Balto's past training & vet care.
