On October 9, the Barton family experienced a tragedy no family should ever have to face. A devastating house fire took the life of Nellie Sue Barton and destroyed the home she shared with her husband, Denver, of 57 years.

Sue was so much more than a wife. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a source of love and comfort to the family she cherished. After nearly six decades of building a life together, Denver is now facing the unimaginable loss of his beloved wife while also facing the challenge of rebuilding the home that held a lifetime of memories.
