Hi, my name is patty, and I have breast cancer, one of the most rare types of breast cancer called Malignant Phyllodes Tumor (MPT)   I love life with all of its ups and downs and this has been a steep hill to go down, but I know I’m a fighter! MPT only makes up 0.3% of all breast cancer cases worldwide and there’s really not many studies for it that are up to date or encourage the survival rate, but with the correct treatment, such as my Bilateral Mastectomy and maybe a little radiation treatment will do the job since chemotherapy doesn’t work on my type of cancer, but Bilateral Mastectomy’s are very expensive and very painful recovery, so I do need all of the help I can get! Every dollar or penny I make that is over what I need for the surgery will also be donated to Saint Jude’s cancer research to help more people like me with rare cancer so there can be more studies to help those who need it. My surgery date is May 8th, and I would be so grateful for anything anyone can do to help! <3
