Ana  urgently needs your help to raise funds to replace the roof of her Sacred Maloca before Rainy Season

Please help us raise the $3,500 for the materials and labour costs to rebuild the Maloca roof. All funds are going directly to Ana.

• Ana is an Ancestral Wisdom Keeper and Medicine Woman from the Indigenous Costa Rican Boruca Tribe located in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.

Three years ago with the help of local ex-pat families and friends, Ana was able to build her Maloca on her Sacred land, next to the Archeological Site of the Ancient Spheres. This Maloca is not only is it her sacred place where she sits by the fire, does healings and shares her prayers, it is also a community events space where she hosts her Ancestral Wisdom School for children as well other community events around the sacred fire. 

• The roof of the Maloca is in a bad state of disrepair and needs to come down in the coming weeks. This would leave Ana without her sacred space to host her busy schedule of events coming up in September and October.
  
  
• Ana has recently been recognized by the Government as an Indigenous Leader and rising female Indigenous Entrepreneur with her unique project in Sierpe.
  
  The Government has selected Ana to host an important event for Costa Rican Women Entrepreneurs this October on her land, as part of their ongoing women in business education program. With the 4th year of The Boruca WisdomSchool starting in late September and this event happening in early October, the work on the Maloca is an urgent priority.
• Pleaase help Ana raise the $3,500 by Friday September 5th, to buy the materials and pay for the labour to rebuild the roof in September.

• If we raise over our goal of $3,500 (which would be amazing) these funds will go towards building a kitchen for the Boruca Wisdom School for children. The addition of a kitchen will allow Ana to teach more workshops with medicinal plants as well as cooking classes in traditional Borucan cuisine.
