Hi, I’m Mahramali Eqbalzada (Morteza), and I have
created this fundraising campaign to support my friend Mortaza
Mohammadi.
He is 25 years old and originally from
Bamyan province, Afghanistan.
Due to ongoing
security threats, he is currently living with his
family in Pakistan without any legal
documentation.
Despite these challenges, Mortaza has
never given up. He truly believes that
education is the key to making lasting change in society.
🚴♂️ Social and Voluntary Activities
From 2015 to 2021, Mortaza was an active member of
the Oqab Sports Club and Salsal & Shahmama Cycling Club
in Bamyan, Afghanistan.
I was also member of Oqab Sports
Club as a coach for the boys’ team.
Together, we worked hard to
promote women’s cycling in the region – a
significant and brave achievement in our community.
🤲 Commitment to Street Children – HASCO
Mortaza was also a committed member of the HASCO organization
(Help Afghan's Street Children Organization).
HASCO
supports street children, orphans, and vulnerable
Children in Afghanistan.
In the HASCO School in Bamyan, more than 300 children have received free education and humanitarian services for several years.
🎓 Accepted at a University in Germany
In July 2025, Mortaza was officially accepted into
the University of Applied Sciences in Schmalkalden,
Germany,
to study International Business and
Economics.
This is an incredible opportunity for him — a
chance to rebuild his life and someday help
others by creating opportunities through knowledge and education.
💶 Why He Needs Your Help?
To apply for a student visa, Mortaza is required to open a
blocked bank account in Germany
with €11,200 inside. as mandated by German law.
This
amount guarantees that a student can cover basic living costs during
their first year.
So far, Mortaza has raised €5,200 with help from
friends and family.
Now, we are trying to raise the remaining
€6,000, and there are only about 50 days
left before the application deadline.
