About her: She's a badass farmer that lives in a small village called Gboloo Kofi, where I served in the Peace Corps. Many years ago her husband passed away and she's been a single mother of four kids by blood and one other that's not, through most of their lives. She moved into a new stick and mud house that her son built, which was the house that I lived in when I was there, so that her sister and her kids could move into her old house. She means a lot to me, hosted me for most of the three years that I lived in Gboloo Kofi and allowed me to use her farmland for my Masters research at the expense of her income as she is a farmer. She is one of the kindest and most selfless people I know.
The Solution(?): Aikins has a steady income from a nearby NGO (check out his bio) where he works that builds schools and clinics in the region. It's not enough to pay for the rest of the house outright but he's budgeted paying back the remaining $1,200 that he needs to finish the house (get a roof up) by this coming November. I'm looking for people to contribute to this loan. I will organize the finances and transfer of money and pay people back probably in one lump sum at the end to avoid repeated bank transfer fees overseas. You won't gain any financial interest from this, and I'll do my best to pay back your money come November if Aikins for some reason can't. Any little bit helps.
