Even though days are getting longer, our dogs at the shelter have to endure rain, heavy cold winds and rain. Food is their only source of energy. Being able to feed the dogs at least once a day is crucial for the survival of our project. Your donation helps our dogs to survive!
When Bojan started the Bark Ark, he was in the comfortable position
to order food now and pay for it later. This has changed drastically.
Since we are never able to raise food money quick enough and haven´t
been able to pay in time, we are in deep debts with all suppliers in
the region. Bojan can only buy dog food when he has enough cash to pay
for it immediately. Sometimes he doesn´t have that cash and the dogs
can´t eat.
Instead of one meal a day, he can only feed the dogs
four times per week. This means they go hungry on three days per week.
You can imagine that the dogs get nervous and we have more fights at
the shelter.
We are at a turning point now. It is crucial that we
raise the debts very quickly to keep our dogs from starving!!
