Hi there, Sara writing. I'm a longtime friend of Kaili, and witness to her bleeding heart. If you're not aware- Kaili volunteers her time to rescuing and caring for animals 24/7, 365 for absolutely no monetary compensation. I brought you here today to ask that you may help me in raising funds for Kaili's beloved cat, Ash, who is undergoing treatment for what may be cancer. She gives her all to the rescue community, and it's now our turn to help. 

In recent weeks, Ash lost a massive amount of weight and stopped eating. Bloodwork showed that he was anemic and his red blood cell count was not good. He was given a Convenia shot, and went back for bloodwork and had shown no changes, and was still anemic. He started doxycycline and started refusing to eat. He was given hydra packets for hydration, and has been given an appetite stimulant, as well as probiotics. He is now on prednisolone, sub Q fluids, and Cerenia. Ash's care is a constant guessing game, a 'round the clock job, and very costly. Progress has been slow and fleeting- his vet thinks it may be cancer. If that's the case, we'll fight for Ash until he tells us it's his time.

As of today, Kaili has invested approximately $500.00 into his treatment. If he is in need of ongoing bloodwork, that cost will rise aggressively. If he tells us it's his time to leave us, any additional funds will be donated toward Kaili's account at Turner Veterinary Service for her other beloved pets (7 dogs, 5 cats, and multiple reptiles!). Let's commit to rallying for $700 for Ash, so that the least of his family's worries is the financial burden of his care. We can do this! For our spunky, compassionate, and optimistic friend of all animals- we can rally.
