3 months ago TILLY was seen being run down by a car which did not stop. TILLY was taken to hospital - she had no ID and was officially classed as a stray. TILLY was given a poor prognosis for recovery and spent several weeks in hospital before we were asked to take her in. At MoonAcre, we specialise in rehabilitating paralysed dogs, and after a week little TILLY was able to stand and after that take steps with our help. TILLY made a good recovery and was soon walking and then running independently. But last week she developed a problem with her weaker leg and our surgeon told us that TILLY needed to have her leg permanently pinned to support the structure there. TILLY needs the surgery to happen fast. 

We are asking for donations to come in so we can reserve a surgical space for her with the vet right away! With her leg pinned and given support, we know that TILLY will make a good recovery, and our hope is that she could even leave our Sanctuary for a forever home of her own. 

TILLY is a sweet natured little dog who never complains about her pain. She has tried very hard to learn to walk again, and is so close to a full recovery!
