UPDATE 5/5/18. Just got back from seeing Lisa and she asked me to ask you to please help her feel better. Lisa has tubes sewn through her face. I guess to keep them intact. Today when I walked in and started calling Pretty girl Lisa, she actually raised her head a bit. SHE STILL HASNT EATEN. The dr said that tomorrow I could bring a rotassari chicken and some white rice, and maybe some treat for her. Trying anything to jump start her to want to eat. SHE IS VERY SKINNY. Her protein levels are within normal range this morning, and her white blood cell count is beginning to raise a bit.  Her tail is now wrapped in vet wrap because it was so red and raw from all the diarrehea. They have moved the two iv points into her back legs now.  She is still fighting, so I will continue to fight for her. Although I was able to put a $1300 deposit, there is no way I can come up with the remainder without YOUR help. 

Lisa is an almost 4 month old Great Dane. Her and her sister came to live with me two months ago. Both girls have had their shots, all except the last one which is due on the 14th of May. Not sure how, but Lisa somehow came in contact with the virus Parvo. She is in the hospital under 24 hour watch getting the required medications to try and help her survive. The estimate is 5226.22 for this life saving procedure. Am told that because it was caught early her chances are 50/50 and add to the fact she is a big puppy there is more of her. There are many ideas what caused a puppy that has had shots to contract the virus but it is through no fault of Lisa. I have paid $1300 deposit to leave her at the hospital where she will receive 24/7 care. My normal vet has offered to have her come there for treatment but a lower amount, but she will not have 24/7 care there, and that is a concern of mine. She has already snapped her catheter and was bleeding out of it, so what would happen if she did that and no one was there?? I know the amount is huge, but an animals life is priceless. Can you find it in your heart to help me continue to give Lil Lisa the opportunity to survive?
