My story.....I have always skied. I love it. My mom put me on skis as soon as I could walk. We would ski Panda Peak, before the X-games were there. Later I would ski at Powder Pandas where instructors put a caution sign on my helmet and where my ski instructors Bryna and Ari would catch me when I would fall asleep on the way down the hill at the end of the day. Then on to AVSC where the freestyle program prepared us for the new Park and Pipe Program that was still in the making back then. So many fun memories and once that super tramp got to AVSC I was sold. Seeing Torin Yater Wallace win Gold at X-games made me want to ski just like him.

I have worked hard over the years and I have had some great results along the way. A few National Championships, some good results at Rev Tours, invitations to elite camps, but to be invited to a World Cup still feels somewhat surreal. Competing against the guys I look up to is a dream come true. But as Alex Fereira and his coach Elana told me, I deserve to be at this level! I have put in the work, got the results at competitions leading up to this and I work hard. It is my goal this year to make the US Rookie Ski Team and perform well in the invitation only events I am competing in.

I just finished my first World Cup Event in Copper, the Toyota Grand Prix, and am planning on traveling to Calgary and Mammoth on several occasions as well ski at a home competition in Aspen Snowmass. I do work hard, every summer, at the Snowmass Club to help pay for my ski career. My mom is my biggest supporter, but the cost of travel, lodging and coaching add up quickly and this is hopefully where you can help.

Your generous contribution would not only help me get to these World Cup and Rev Tour Events, but it will also give me an opportunity to be noticed by US Coaches to earn my spot on the US Ski Team and with it a scholarship to the University of Utah, a school I am planning to attend after my senior year.

My mom would say "it takes a village to raise good children and great athletes are no exception"
