After over two decades of incarceration, our brother and friend David was released in January 2023! We are continuing to fundraise to support his homecoming. All funds raised will cover David’s re-entry expenses like housing, clothing, groceries, transportation, and health care.
From David himself: "On the 4th of January, I became a returning citizen and am taking on the task of readjusting to a world far different than I’ve known. No language can adequately express my gratitude and appreciation for you and your investment in me. Because of you, I reenter with more than most in my circumstances which allows me to focus on other areas of my re-entry. I am adjusting fairly well, although I’m sure there are many challenges to come. Your support strengthens me, financial contributions and positive energy, all of which combat my fears of reentering an unforgiven society. Currently, I'm focused on gainful employment and a driver's license after weeks of just trying to do the most basic things after 22 years. One of the most amazing and emotional parts of this process is reuniting with loved ones."
