Dance endeavors--

• How dance became life, for both Veda and myself.
  
  In November of 2020, Veda and I moved from our hometown in Northwest Bradenton to Sarasota. A big life change, but with change comes opportunities! After Veda attempted to find interest in a variety of activities and sports, she was adamant about joining a HipHop dance class. While I was a single parent for several years before this, I just couldn't financially work out paying for a dance class. (Dance was always more costly than school sports/teams.) After having moved to Sarasota, and in with Eric, (whom she lovingly refers to as her step-dad), financial struggle had been relieved somewhat considering I had a partner and we both made our incomes; splitting bills and so forth. So, after some thought, Eric and Veda and I checked out a few dance studios in our area. However, there was one that significantly stood out to her. "Mystical's Dance Company". Veda had her heart set on joining a HipHop class as soon as we could make it happen.
  MDC was the dance studio where she would find her place and gain her "dance family".
  
  We are now in our 3rd year of Veda being enrolled with MDC. More specifically, as a competition dance student. We went from year 1 of having one class, to year 2 having three classes and now (in year 3) having 10+ classes/sessions a week. This year Veda has her very FIRST ever solo routine, on top of having five other routines among the Platinum team she is on. With this increase of classes also comes with the increase of costumes, competitions, routines and solo lessons. So the cost has risen, understandably.
  
  Veda is 100% dedicated and committed; striving to learn new styles of dance, technique, strength, etc.
  Dance is who she is, who she wants to be, where she wants to go in life. As a mom, you witness something extraordinary when you get to watch the growth, the progression, the lessons learned, friendships made and pure happiness just radiating from your child when they are pouring their heart and soul into their passion.
  We are doing everything we can to ensure Veda gets to continue this dream of hers. 
  
  What are we asking of you? For anyone who has it in their hearts, is willing and able, to donate/contribute to this fundraiser. This is just for assistance toward the increase in fees that we incur for the competitions she will specifically be performing in. 
  
  EVERY little bit counts, and every amount will be directly put toward Veda's dance fees for competition.
