The Conscious Resistance and The Free Thinker House are going on tour with their message of community, empowerment, anarchism, and solutions!

Greetings Friends and Family! My name is Derrick Broze. I am an activist, author, and journalist. Since 2010, I have been building community in Houston with the Houston Free Thinkers activist community. We have focused on empowering our community by seeking solutions to the problems created by State and Corporate power. We continue to do this today in the form of outreach, documentary screenings, community gardening, and through our space The Free Thinker House. Together we work to provide a space of acceptance, education, and neighborhood power! 

Since 2013, I have also been involved with The Conscious Resistance Network, a website and movement dedicated to spreading the message of spiritual and political libertation. This is the home for my essays, news reports, and interviews. The Conscious Resistance is also the name of the book series I co-authored with fellow activist John Vibes.

Now, in 2017, we want to take our message of community building, spiritual empowerment, Agorism, and counter-economics on the road! This summer we plan to travel across Texas, the West Coast, the MidWest, and the East Coast (in the fall!)! We will be bringing our message, leading guided meditations, and explaining the concept of Freedom Cells to your town! We will also be participating in "Action Days" where we build community gardens, do homeless outreach, or park cleanups - in your neighborhood!
