Bojan Veselica from the Bark Ark Dog shelter in Prnjavor found two severely wounded cats on the roads. Both needed amputations and would have died if it had not been for Bojan's fast rescue and delivery to the vet. But they need your help now.

We must cover vet and pension costs, and, we need help to find homes for both of them

Smokey, the grey and white cat, had a serious wound on his front paw, which had to be amputated.  He is a very friendly cuddly cat, calm and gentle, Bojan tells us..... just a sweetheart. Surely Smokey deserves a home!

Inky, the black and white cat, was found in really a bad way - she had a nasty growth on her neck and a badly wounded, infected tail. Her tail had to be amputated, and the growth removed. It was not a tumour, possibly an external fistula or an infection of some kind.  Inky is now in recovery... can you fall in love with her and take her home so she can forget whatever horror she experienced on the streets? She must have been suffering for such a long time in this terrible way.

Bojan has a foster carer skilled in taking care of cats in recovery, and we are trying to raise funds for a month to cover two month's worth of pension costs, food and litter, as well as the cost of vet treatment, vaccination and sterilisation for both cats. Inky and Smokey are now together and safe but can only stay this way with your help.

Vet treatment Inky: 60 euros
Two months board and food and litter for two cats: 200 euros
Sterilisation: 30 euros each - 60 euros
Vaccines 18 euros each - 36 euros

Total: 441 euros
8% fee (PayPal, Fundrazr) 35 euros
