Ron Harding was a devoted advocate of the Okanagan Sun.  He was a coach, a board member, a mentor, a liaison, a builder of the sport of football.  He supported all kids wanting to "make the team".  He believed if you had the passion, the desire and the heart, you could learn to play the game.  Ron's commitment to the players was both on and off the field. He helped them with jobs, transportation costs, places to live and food to eat, as they started their life journey with the game of football.  

Before his passing, Ron had one wish... to raise money, to help the kids, just one more season!  So, we have created this fundraiser in Ron's memory, to honor his wish and his commitment of helping the players of the Okanagan Sun. 

In the past many of Ron's business colleagues, friends and family have stepped up to help him, help the kids.  If you too would like to honor Ron's last wish, we know he would be, as we would be, as the players will be, beyond grateful.
