Help Us Rebuild a Home After the Colombia Earthquake 🇨🇴
My name is Sofia, and I’m creating this fundraiser for a very close friend, Mariana and her family in Pereira, Colombia, whose home was severely damaged by the earthquake that struck the region.
For 26 years, this house was their home - the place where they built memories, celebrated important moments, and created a life together. In just a matter of moments, that sense of safety was taken away. The home is now no longer safe or habitable, and the family is facing the difficult reality of having to start over.
They are now left with the overwhelming task of rebuilding their home, covering essential repairs, and meeting their most immediate needs while they figure out what comes next.
I couldn’t stand by and do nothing. I’m raising this fundraiser to help my friend and her family begin rebuilding what they lost and, most importantly, regain a safe place they can call home.

Ayúdanos a reconstruir un hogar tras el terremoto en Colombia 🇨🇴
Mi nombre es Sofia y estoy creando esta campaña para ayudar a una amiga muy cercana y a su familia en Pereira, Colombia, cuyo hogar quedó gravemente afectado por el terremoto que azotó la región.
Durante 26 años, esta casa fue su hogar: el lugar donde construyeron recuerdos, celebraron momentos importantes y formaron una vida juntos. En cuestión de momentos, esa tranquilidad y seguridad desaparecieron. La vivienda ya no es habitable ni segura, y ahora la familia enfrenta la difícil realidad de tener que empezar de nuevo.
Hoy necesitan apoyo para reconstruir su hogar, cubrir reparaciones esenciales y afrontar sus necesidades más urgentes mientras comienzan a reconstruir sus vidas.
No podía quedarme de brazos cruzados. Por eso estoy recaudando fondos para ayudar a mi amiga y a su familia a recuperar lo que perdieron y, sobre todo, a volver a tener un lugar seguro al que puedan llamar hogar.
