I am Todd Macdonald. I have been in Japan for 33 years and during that time have got to know many people throughout Asia.

The Philippines is having a huge disaster right now with so many Typhoons pummeling the country just in November.  Cagayan and Manila were hit very hard.

Please FIRST thing, take a look at the few pictures and the video that I posted here.

Typhoons Molave (Quinta), Atsani (Siony), Etau (Tonyo) and

VERY DANGEROUS Typhoons Vamco (Ulysses) and Goni (Rolly) are just a few to name.  These don't even include all of the typhoons that hit in October and the ones off of their coast now.

Millions have been evacuated, displaced, living on rooftops or flooded homes.  They have no real shelter, many are starving and dying from the elements.

A few friends and I are working to help buy blankets and towels.  Food such as boiled eggs and cooked rice that do not need to be cooked and distributing them.  We are working to put these directly into the hands of the people.

We are using the Philippines National Bank for all transfers and can provide receipts to contributors to show where the money has been going.

In Manila alone, over 1.9 million homes are now without power.

Over the weekend, you could see families on rooftops begging for help for their children only to see the children dead in the evening from drowning.

I am not a professional fundraiser or organizer but I do have many friends here in Japan that are from the Philippines and I have many friends in the Philippines.  I have seen the amount of money that Charity Organization CEOs make and it is sickening.  We have put together a couple of groups where we are giving them directly the money to buy food, clothing, towels, etc. directly.  We can show you the receipts from the transfers and we will be showing you pictures that show exactly where the money is going.
