Oscar's family needs help

• Our friend Oscar Ramirez is rapidly losing his battle with an aggressive cancer.
• His wife Sulay and their family are doing what they can to care for him, but are finding it hard to make ends meet.
• Since coming to Canada from Colombia in 2010, both have worked hard at cleaning, landscaping, painting and odd jobs in order to support themselves and their family.
• With Oscar too sick to work, Sulay has lost many of her cleaning clients because she needs to navigate Oscar's many appointments, chemotherapy, surgery, and now end of life care.
• They don't have supplementary health insurance or other sources of financial support, which adds a significant burden at this most difficult of times.
• Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated to help cover:
• medications and uninsured health care expenses
• rent 
• living costs

La familia de Oscar necesita ayuda

• Nuestro amigo Oscar Ramírez está perdiendo rápidamente su batalla contra un cáncer agresivo.
• Su esposa Sulay y su familia están haciendo todo lo posible por cuidarlo, pero les resulta difícil llegar a fin de mes.
• Desde que llegaron a Canadá desde Colombia en 2010, ambos han trabajado duro en tareas de limpieza, jardinería, pintura y otros trabajos ocasionales para mantenerse a sí mismos y a su familia.
• Ahora que Oscar está demasiado enfermo para trabajar, Sulay ha perdido muchos de sus clientes de limpieza porque tiene que ocuparse de las numerosas citas médicas, la quimioterapia, la cirugía y, ahora, los cuidados paliativos de Oscar.
• No tienen seguro médico complementario ni otras fuentes de apoyo financiero, lo que supone una carga importante en estos momentos tan difíciles.
