Hello everyone! I want to thank you for checking out my fundraiser. 

 In case you were referred here by a mutual friend, my name is Nicole Renee, and I own and operate a Spiritual business called The Divine Eye.

This fundraiser is for my birthday, to help me purchase a new computer.

A bit of a vulnerable share...
I have been disabled with a chronic pain condition for the last four years.
It began while I was working a corporate job, and resulted in me needing to leave my job, because I couldn't maintain the hours with my pain levels.  
For a brief time I was on short term disability. When that ran out I applied for long term disability, and was denied. I appealed with a lawyer but to date I have not been approved.   

In my personal spiritual practice I've been studying and practicing many forms of divination and healing, but it was never something I offered professionally.
While I was waiting on my disability claim, I began doing divinations & making herbal products for clients. This allowed me to bring in some income, without challenging my chronic pain condition, and let me realize that my spiritual gifts are needed, important, and a viable way for me to make a living without needing to go back to the corporate world.

Recently, my mom got sick, and, as you can imagine, it shifted things into a whole new gear for me.  
I realized that my mom is no longer able to work and care for herself alone.  She now needs my help.  My mom has always been there for me, and now it's my turn to help support my Mom. 
What this means is that in addition to caring for myself, I need to begin paying for an assisted living/senior apartment for her, going to appointments with her, and handling anything else she needs. 

Her getting sick helped me to realize that I need to get serious about my business, and use it to take care of us both.

Through The Divine Eye I currently offer custom herbal products, tarot & bone readings (via zoom), and divination based  1:1 guidance programs. I am also a VA for other spiritual practitioners.
Currently I am running this entire business from a VERY old PC desktop that a friend gifted me.
It freezes, crashes, and basically isn't equipped to handle the multimedia workload I need to put it through to work. 
(I have to take client zoom calls on my phone, which is less than ideal!)

I have a lot of goals for my business.
In addition to an increased client load, I'd like to begin offering divinations via Youtube, and releasing audio guided meditations - but I can't create these offerings on my current computer.
 

My goal is to invest in a MacBook that I can use to run my business, that will suit my needs and have longevity. I hope to meet this fundraising goal by the fourth of July so that I can take advantage of holiday sale pricing.
