Makiah Caldwell is a senior Television and Film major at Howard university, who serves as the Director of 𝑀𝒶𝓁𝒶𝒹𝒶𝓅𝓉𝒾𝓋𝑒. Makiah plans on using her career as a filmmaker to spread joy and encourage people to be authentic in everything they do! She loves using colors and style when creating her projects and that is reflected in the way she chooses to express this narrative. She is working alongside Tonya-Lee Webster, a senior Television and Film major, at Howard University and is serving as the Producer for 𝑀𝒶𝓁𝒶𝒹𝒶𝓅𝓉𝒾𝓋𝑒, she will utilize her highly personable skills to gain connections, promote creativity, and emphasize a cooperative and compassionate work environment for the film’s complete success. 

Follow Penny, a shy masked circus clown on her journey to reclaim her once lost identity as the dancer she was born to be!

On this marvelous adventure join Penny as she escapes The Magician, a bold and manipulative circus ring leader that discovers her talents and uses them for her despair and his benefit, and his minions, The Elements. After escaping, Penny meets a divine and mystical being who helps her realize that she is so much more than what she has become! But... does meeting this divine being protect Penny's fate from the imminent danger of The Magician and his crew?

With the use of striking and color-rich visuals inspired by technicolor, magical world building of a circus and star quality acting, this film will have you dazed in amazement and riddled with astonishment, anticipation, surprise and deep emotional connections.
