Youth, age 11-18, of the Lenexa Ward are raising money to pay for Summer Camps. Although some of the older youth are able to find summer employment, many are unable to work during the school year and cannot earn enough before before summer. The younger ones, especially, rely heavily on fundraising efforts.
To raise funds this year, we will be delivering bagged yard mulch (or compost). We are taking pre-orders through March 27. We plan to deliver the mulch orders on Saturday, April 10. Backup delivery dates April 14-15 in the event of bad weather.
HOW MUCH MULCH SHOULD I ORDER?
Each bag of mulch is 2 cubic feet and covers 6 to 8 square feet depending on how thick you place it.
COLORS AVAILABLE?
We are offering 3 of the most popular colors (Brown, Black, and Red) as well as Cedar mulch for $5 each. We will also have bags of Nature Wise Compost for $5 each. For and extra $1/bag we will spread it in your yard.
The compost is 100% natural soil amendment and comes in bags of 1 cubic foot. Great for gardens and flower beds! These prices include reimbursement for purchase of the mulch from Missouri Organic and delivery to your driveway.
You may also choose to make a voluntary donation without ordering any mulch or compost.
Payment Instructions:
Step 1: Determine how much you wish to pay in total. How many bags of mulch/compost do you want? Multiply times $5 per each bag. Do you wish to make a voluntary donation in addition to or instead of your mulch/compost purchase? Add all of that together to determine your total contribution amount.
Step 2: On this web page, click on the "CONTRIBUTE" box. Enter your total contribution amount. Enter your name and email address. In the "Your Message" box, you can tell us how many bags of mulch/compost you would like.
NOTE: You will be given an option to include a "tip." The "tip" is optional. It does not go to the Lenexa Youth. Any "tip" you decide to include will go to help support the website fundrazr.com.
