As a father, one of the hardest things I’ve experienced is feeling limited in my ability to consistently be there for my son the way I want and need to be. Over the past few years, I’ve faced financial and transportation struggles that have made rebuilding stability extremely difficult. Living on disability has made it challenging to save enough to purchase reliable transportation on my own, and without dependable transportation, even simple things like spending quality time with my son can become overwhelming obstacles. Despite everything, my son has always remained my biggest motivation. There have been moments that have deeply hurt me emotionally as a father  moments where the bond between us has felt strained and difficult. But through all of it, I continue showing up with love, patience, and hope because I want my son to always know that he is loved, supported, and never abandoned. I created this fundraiser because I’m trying to rebuild my independence and create stability so I can consistently get to my son without relying on others for help or transportation. My goal is to purchase reliable transportation that will allow me to be more present, dependable, and active in his life moving forward. Asking for help is not easy for me. But I’m doing this because being present for my child matters more to me than my pride. If you’re unable to donate, even sharing this fundraiser would truly mean more than words can express.
