Esther Amegashitsi (Nee Esther Asabea Kissiedu) born on May 29th 1952 was called to God's Glory on November 20th 2022 at the age of 70. Born in the Eastern Region of Ghana, in the Western part of Africa to the late Mr. Asa Kissiedu and Victoria Kissiedu. She was the eldest of 9 children. She is preceded in death by both parents, her brother Kwadwo Kissiedu and her son Dela Amegashitsi. Esther Kissiedu is survived by her husband Ruben Amegashitsi, her sons and daughters, Francis Amegashitsi, Esinam Amegashitsi, Kwame Amegashitsi, Edem Amegashitsi and Augustina Mawusi and 7 of her siblings. She had 5 grandchildren. As a teacher of over 40 years she spent over half her entire life raising and molding children into upstanding grown men and women. She was loving, kind and generous. Esther Amegashitsi spent most of her life as an influential member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints helping young and older women of the Relief society doing God's work and giving back to the community. In her retirement years she enjoyed traveling to the United States to help raise her grandchildren, something that she found joy and comfort in.
