I’m a 14-year-old 2nd degree Dan and 6x World Champion martial artist in various disciplines, including extreme martial arts, double nunchaku, katana, and the 3-section staff. 🌟 I’m also an actor, who is passionate about writing and performing fight choreography (I’ve written and performed 3 to date) and my goal is to become a stunt actor. Yes, I’d LOVE to be cast in a Marvel or DC series!

As a trainee, I'll soak in the essence of the Shaolin monks' legacy, gaining a profound appreciation for the historical and cultural traditions that have not only inspired Jackie Chan but have also left an indelible mark on the world of Action Cinema. This journey isn't just about honing my craft; it's a pilgrimage into the heart of martial arts history, where every step echoes with the spirit of legends.

Short Bio: 

Eccaia Sampson is a 14-year-old 2nd Dan, martial art tricker, actor / podcast host, stunt performer and martial arts weapons enthusiast from Canada. A member of Team Revolution and a former member of the Pulse Performance team, Eccaia has developed a unique perspective when it comes to managing the pressures of live performance. Best known for her starring role in KT Tunstall’s Human Being Video, her live performances with the Barenaked Ladies, along with some fun commercials, Eccaia believes that life is an echo; what you send out comes back.

Eccaia earned her first degree Black Belt in Shorin Ryu at the age of 8, with nunchaku and extreme martial arts being her primary focus. While she continues to compete locally and abroad, earning 6 National Championship titles, and 6 World Champion titles, in the past 5 years, Eccaia has devoted much of her focus to her education in the area of stunt/action choreography and performance.

Influenced by women like Action Designer Mindy Kelly, Heidi Moneymaker, Caitlin Dechelle as well as actors like Scarlett Johansson, and Milla Jovovich she aspires to land a strong female action role in a major film, in the next stage of her career.

As a recipient of the 2021 Leading Women Leading Girls Building Community award for her commitment to creating positive change for Women and Girls, Eccaia is committed to continuing her efforts to inspire others.
