Please Help Carlos Get Back on His Feet

Let me introduce you to Carlos.  If you’ve ever stayed at Kari's home in Cabo, you know Carlos.  He’s the one who greets you with a warm smile, snacks ready upon arrival, coffee waiting in the morning, and quite possibly the best bacon you’ve ever had. He’s an incredible chef, the master behind unforgettable dinners, and always ready to mix the perfect margarita or strawberry daiquiri—whatever makes your stay special.

But more than anything, it’s Carlos’s heart that stands out. His kindness, positivity, and genuine care for everyone who walks through the door have made him more than a house manager—he’s become a friend to so many of us.

Unfortunately, after years of playing football, Carlos is now dealing with severe knee damage. He needs knee replacement surgery, and while both knees will eventually need to be done, one is significantly worse and requires immediate attention.

Medical coverage in Mexico is limited, meaning this surgery will be a significant out-of-pocket expense.  We are coming together to help Carlos get the surgery he needs this summer so he can get back to doing what he loves—taking care of others and bringing joy to everyone around him.
