Andrew Jones, Founder of North Bank Entertainment
and prolific writer, director & producer of Indie films,
passed away on 15 January
2023, age 39.
His loving wife, Sharron, an accomplished artist and intuitive,
was his full-time carer from the moment Andrew was bedridden. As
many of you know, this left the couple financially stranded, and was
the very reason this campaign was first started. After the extremely
traumatic experiences Sharron has just lived through, both in the
medical battlefield and personally, she will need time to grief,
rest and process before building her new future.
We kindly ask you to continue donating to give Sharron the
time and space she needs without financial worries.

Andrew was diagnosed with a rare life-threatening adrenal condition known as Cushing’s Syndrome.
Andrew and his producer wife, Sharron campaigned to raise funds, as they no longer have any regular income, and the benefits (Universal Credit) they receive are not enough to cover, current rent, bills, or food let alone additional life-saving private healthcare treatments.
If this wasn't challenging enough they are also being evicted from their current home and will be made homeless soon. These added stresses have taken a further toll on Andrew's spirit, and health! They have always worked and never asked for help before. Frankly, asking has been significant stress as well. But circumstances are so dire, that they need the crowdfunding love, and support so they can focus for 12 months on Andrew's recovery, without the financial pressures and worries.
They have the availability of significant help, and healing is possible. But they NEED your love and support!
Andrew is best known and loved, as a prolific independent film producer, screenwriter, director, and editor. At the age of 27, he founded the UK production company North Bank Entertainment to produce independent genre films. Andrew has since become one of the most prolific independent film producers in the UK with an established track record of commercially successful titles. Up until 2020, Andrew had produced 29 independent feature films including the Robert the Doll series, but tragically became ill and could no longer continue working.
The treatments for Cushing’s Syndrome are evasive surgeries, radiotherapy, and a lifetime of toxic medications with adverse side effects which would prevent Andrew from returning to the career he loves. However, significant, natural treatments and protocols are a realistic option but would have to be paid for privately.
This illness has rendered Andrew too weak and exhausted, as well as causing muscle atrophy in his arms and legs so cannot currently walk and is bedridden, and he will need extensive rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and chiropractic. It is also imperative that a suitable, ground floor home like a bungalow - preferably with a level access shower, in order to use a wheelchair until he can walk again.
The Council has very limited housing stock due to the current housing demand caused by the Covid Pandemic and knock-on economic situation with over 200,000 currently being evicted in the UK. The Council also will not house you till you actually become homeless, which is not an option for Andrew in this vulnerable condition. A truly catch 22 situation.
As Andrew currently can’t work - he wished he could - and that Sharron has to be his full-time carer, their income, including benefits falls significantly short of the monthly costs needed.
The professional healing team, ready to help, are confident that 12 months is what he needs to heal, and so we need 12 months of living and treatment costs raised. This will allow Andrew to ONLY focus on healing, and then getting back to what he does best!
Every alternative avenue has been extensively researched to try and create solutions. But none have been suitable.
