As many of you know Dave played defensive tackle for the Trojans. He was a legend on the football field and on campus. He was one of our heroes then and still is today. All of us have been or would be honored to call him friend. He is humble and very caring toward everyone he meets. He is always willing to help in anyway he can.

Over the years, I have seen Dave struggle through his wife's battle with cancer, which she eventually lost last year. Since then, Dave has done his everyting in his power to stay strong and support his two sons, Luke (age 9) and Josh (age 8). Thoughout this challenging time Dave smiles constantly and spends every minute he can with his boys.

Now Dave himself is diagnosed with cancer and will undergo intensive surgery and chemotherapy this month. This obviosly is a daunting task for anyone, but especially a single father. True to Dave's charecter, he says he is not concerned about himself but he is about supporting his family while he is out of work for treatment. The goal in this endeavor is to minimize the financial burden as much as possible so Dave can focus on getting healthy. Please join us.
