Dear friend,

I still pinch myself that I got accepted into the Boston Marathon 2015, taking place on Monday, April 20! I am running with my alma mater, Tufts University- Yeah Yeah Yeah! And I am thrilled to let you know that my Registration Fees of US$325.00 have been fully paid! YEah!! That reduces 


You know how much I love running, rain or shine, sleet, snow, ice, wind or blizzard, I will be on the road. And living in the Mt. Pocono area of Pennsylvania, any of these weather conditions come in handy. Fortunately for me, I was smart enough to invest in great running gear for winter, spring, summer and autumn, that has served me great, to date. My Free Country Jacket keeps me warm under zero degree temperatures, my newton distance provide a comfortable well-cusioned, highly-breathable glide an and off any running surface, and the YakTax Traction keeps me running naturally on snow and ice. You have to them out; you won’t go back to no other running gear!

Unfortunately, after a year, one needs to up their running wardrobe. Especially, when training for a marathon. My shoes have put in more than enough miles for their lifetime (in fact I no longer use them), and need an immediate replacement. Yet, at this point of underemployment coupled with personal and family financial obligations, I cannot afford to buy a much needed new pair of shoes. Plus, my typical marathon preparation regimen involves a few hours at the gym for strength training. And, I still need to register for the Boston marathon.

Please consider making a donation of any amount to help me off-set the cost of registration and training for the Boston Marathon 2015. A basic calculation of the total costs comes to USD805.00

Cost of Newton Distance = USD155.00
Training attire = USD100.00
Gym Fees (4 months @$120/month +$70 enrollment) = USD550.00
Total Minimum Cost = USD805.00

Please consider any amount of donation. It would very much appreciated! In exchange, you will get to hear of all my adventures training under blizzards, sleet and frost. I will also share with you tips on how to get the first step out, how to 'sneak away' from kids for a 'quickie 5 miles', how your legs can endure hills and mountains to clock in 20 miles, when head says no, and how to chase the wind and up your pace.
