Pontiac Michigan has gone through some truly drastic changes roughly around the year of 2007. Our city had two high schools – you were either a CHIEF or a Huskie. But because of the financial hardship within the city I was born - Pontiac Central High had to close its doors in the spring of 2009 and both schools had to form into one high school. Although our doors have been closed the spirit still breathes within.

I have a challenge in front of me with raising money for our class 20th reunion. I am the class Vice President and lead planner for our class reunion and I live 700 miles away from Michigan and limited travel therefore challenging me to even create a local fundraising drive. We have a goal of $7,500 dollars that needs to be reached by July 20th, 2014. I need your help to reach that goal.

Oh Fight, Fight for Pontiac Ye warriors staunch and true, Always fight with all your might whatever you may do, do, do, do, do, do whether on diamond, the gridiron or the track, or in the pool! Fight! Fight! For Pontiac for the Orange and the Black.

These words were said at every game, and pep rally – this was our fight song and it still reigns in my spirit 20 years later!

I feel that even if you started with the class of 1994, and you may have went to another school your 2nd/or 3rd/ year or maybe you didn’t graduate with the class of 94 but you did START with us please note once you are a CHIEF you will always be a CHIEF. There is one thing that holds true to me today – my freshman year in high school ROCKED, it’s a year that I still reminisce the most, the band, the pep rally’s, it was a winning year in sports {1991} – roaming the halls of the east and west commons and hearing the fight song – it’s a year you just cant forget!

I personally feel that even if you didn’t attend our school your donation would help the spirit of this reunion.
