My name is Travis. I have a 5 year old daughter who is the love of my life. I was married for several years to my baby girls mother. Our marriage wasn't a bad one but Ive struggled with an issue my whole life. I finally mustered the courage to come out of the closet. Obviously our marriage ended but we still had a beautiful little girl together.
Things were fine for about a year after our divorce. We shared joint custody of our daughter and I cherished every moment I had with my baby girl. About three months ago I decided it was time to enter back into the dating world but this time dating the gender that had always felt right to me.
Unfortunately my baby girls mother had a complete change of hart. All the sudden she claims that a homosexual man has no right to be a parent. I was shocked. I have always had only the best interest at hart regarding my little girl. Now I find myself lost both emotionally and financially. My divorce cost me everything. I walked away from all we had, giving her everything and only wanting joint custody of our daughter. I thought it was well worth it.
With that all said I find myself with few rights as a father in Oklahoma. We are back in court and I find myself in need of an attorney with no money or resources to pay. I am resorting to the generosity of friends and strangers to help me fight and do what's right. I just miss my baby girl. To all the good people out there, I humbly beg for your help. I am an honest hardworking man but I struggle to make ends meet alone. I just flat out don't have the means to pay an attorney. Any amount you can spare will help my cause.
