I am a volunteer with Pug Rescue of Florida and we were contacted by an owner who needed to surrender her puggle girl, Rosie.  Unfortunately, Pug Rescue of Florida does not have a foster home available for Rosie within their rescue because they are so full..... like most rescues these days. The owners have taken good care of Rosie, and I am trying to help them find a solution so they can keep her. I don't normally set up fundraisers for situations like this, but I honestly believe the best thing for Rosie is for her to stay in her home.  The owners love Rosie and want to keep her, but have fallen on hard times, like alot of people. They are in the process of moving into an apartment (husband just started new job) and trying to get on their feet, but cannot afford the $300 pet deposit the apartment complex requires.  Rosie was saved from a high kill shelter in Florida 3 years ago, and would love to be able to stay with the family that loves her.  Rosie is 7-9 years old and deserves to live out her life with the family she knows. The owners are moving on 11/22/13, so time is of the essence in trying to raise the pet deposit fee. PLEASE DONATE to keep Rosie in her home!  No donation is too small and is greatly appreciated. The pet deposit is a one time fee of $300.  However, the goal had to be set at $325 to cover the fees associated with PayPal (2.9%) and Fundrazr (5%).  Once the goal is reached, I will personally send a check to the apartment manager to pay the pet deposit for Rosie.  Thank you for helping this sweet girl stay in her home!
